In Response COVID-19, MachineMetrics Offers Free Access and Services to Manufacturers

Earlier this month, MachineMetrics joined dozens of other IoT companies in offering solutions designed to specifically address challenges associated with the growing Novel Coronavirus pandemic.

While some IoT companies are offering free software and platform access, MachineMetrics is taking its philanthropic offering a step further to include free services and support as part of a program to support manufacturers on the front lines delivering solutions during the COVID-19 crisis to keep their plants running.

The MachineMetrics COVID-19 Response Program features free access to the MachineMetrics IoT Platform including its plug-and-play data collection and remote monitoring applications for any manufacturer, but for those involved in producing ventilator parts, test equipment, protective equipment, or any COVID-19 related activities, free consulting, engineering and other professional services are being made available.

“At MachineMetrics, many of our customers, local and otherwise, are manufacturers on the frontlines delivering life-saving medical devices and device components. As a company, we’ve shifted our focus to helping these heroes keep their plants running to produce solutions during this unprecedented situation,” said MachineMetrics CEO and Co-Founder Bill Bither, “Now more than ever these capabilities are particularly useful as many are forced to work away from their factory floors. It’s our duty and an honor to help these manufacturers in this time of need.”

MachineMetrics currently supports several top precision component and medical device manufacturers in the world and is uniquely capable to support this initiative. Their platform is plug-and-play, with no on-site set up required. Any manufacturer can now leverage the MachineMetrics' platform and its digital apps designed to enable social distancing and remote work.

“Most modern equipment can be connected within minutes and provide a number of use cases to support social distancing and remote work including automated data collection, remote production, maintenance, and service monitoring, mobile alerts and notifications, and analytics to optimize scheduling and staffing decisions,” continued Bither, “By enabling mobile workers, industrial companies are better able to ensure the safety of their workers while continuing to serve their customers.”

The company has set up a dedicated website here with further details.

MachineMetrics’ data science team will be focusing their efforts on reporting the impact of Coronavirus on the manufacturing industry, in addition to their free offers. They will continue to post reports and other updates.
